A few screenshots
This first screenshot is taken from the prototype game, this is not really representative of the final user interface but it can still gives an idea of what the game will look like when completed. I use the Graphics32 library for the display. It's not DirectX, but it's way faster than GDI, and it's largely enough for my needs anyway. It's one of the very few good native 2D libraries in Delphi.
The following screenshots are taken from the SDK, they mostly show a few map types that can be generated by the game, of couse more variations and types will be added. You can also see the player's field of vision handling in the first one (the red dots).
